How long have you been in business?
10 years R&D and 1 full-time
What areas do you serve?
personal style
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I want to change the paradigm on style as well as create an environment where everyone can be a full human.
What's the coolest thing about owning your own business?
Co-creating beautiful results with my clients on our own terms!
Do you have a favorite story to share?
So many! Recently, a client swore to me I would NOT be able to find her something that felt good, fit her body and looked "smart"...it was a fun to prove all is possible!
What challenges have you had to overcome?
I am raising two kids, one of whom is special needs. Trying to build a business from scratch while doing that was tough, but it made me a better coach!
What advice could you offer to someone starting a business like yours?
Come work for me -- I already invented the wheel! :) OR: Take your time, give yourself enough financial runway and try to enjoy the ride!
YOUR WEDDING
What, if anything, would you change about your wedding?
I wanted to offer to my bridesmaids to wear their own dress in a similar color, but it really wasn't a thing when I was getting married. I wish I'd gone with my gut. I would have been a pioneer!
How did you choose your wedding vendors?
I got married in a small town, so I met them all, saw (or tasted) their work and chose the best!
Take your time. Do what feels right. And plan and attend brunch the next day!
What was the most important decision you made about your wedding?
The venue -- it was utterly beautiful.
Is there anything else you'd like us to know?
Weddings are an incredibly important day and you'll cherish those pictures forever, so give yourself permission to choose what you love within your budget!
