Honeymoon Planning
Do you have a favorite story to share?
Yes. Not everyone has used a travel agent before. I get a lot of honeymooners and a lot of retirees, that never traveled... raised a family and in their twilight years decided the time was now to travel. I was helping plan some logistics for a friend’s wedding in Eastern Europe, and the groom connected me to his cousin, who was in her 50s and never traveled anywhere. I helped her plan a trip to France before the wedding, and when I finally met her at the wedding, she came over to me crying telling me how I had changed her life. Never would she have had known about any of the hotels and regions I sent her to. 6 years later she's still a client!
What challenges have you had to overcome?
COVID!!! Managing my time and balance working on the road and travel. It's easy to work all day and night...
What advice could you offer to someone starting a business like yours?
There are so many variables out of your control, bad weather, flight changes/cancellations, covid, people’s lives... you have to be flexible and help or find a solution for all...
